Implement Communication Strategy
Communication is very important
for this project. Various educational, extension, and media techniques
are being used to change attitudes, knowledge and behaviours concerning
the use of soil, water, forests, etc. as related to humans and the environment.
The expected outcome is a more balanced and equitable relationship for
all.
- We have begun a communication strategy on conservation
and sustainability options for landuse.
- We are preparing new
communication materials using different media and organizing small
workshops in the CARJ about conservation and landuse sustainability.
- We are working with
local youth to encourage their participation and to promote a greater
environmental awareness and understanding of the project.
- We are carrying out
regular meetings with the Project Steering Committee in Asunción
to monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations.
