Paraguayan Agricultural Development (DAP)

It is an agricultural, large scale project, with the latest technology, conducted under a triple bottom line system –economic, social and environmental– It has been developed from an important group of Paraguayan entrepreneurs associated to innovative Argentineans, and to implement efficiently the triple bottom line system, they have joined a society formed by the Moises Bertoni Foundation and the Environmental Law and Economics Institute (IDEA).

In this way both institutions, which are very well positioned in the country, become strategic partners in charge of designing, executing and monitoring all aspects related to the creation of social and economic value for the company. This imply for instance, advising for the fulfillment of social and environmental regulations, linked to the productive activity which is developed: licenses, management plans, a working plan with neighboring communities; responsible and adequate management of best practices on agro chemicals; management of forests which the firm is committed to maintain.
In few words, it is an ambitious program to create economic, social and environmental value, trying to become a successful model for every producer who wants to get involved in sustainable development processes.
