Environmental Education

Radio spots about Tapyta Reserve are developed and spread through the local radio of Enramadita, with 15 daily emissions. Since January 2005, the MBF has had a one-hour-long on-air radio program from Monday to Friday. In addition, informative gazettes are developed and emitted, containing general information about sustainable development and environment conservation, specifically with regards to Tapyta Reserve.

Training workshops are also held, directed at both; teachers and students, where subjects such as the importance of the Tapyta Nature Reserve and the current Environmental Problems are discussed, including dynamics developed with students.

Another important activity is the training in legal topics, where local authorities, inhabitants, and teachers receive oral and written information on the valid environmental laws and their application, organizations in charge, and the mechanisms to act as citizens before ecological offenses. The workshops are dictated by professional lawyers specialized in environmental topics.
